Fable is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by Playground Games and published by Xbox Game Studios. It is the fourth mainline instalment in the Fable series. The game scheduled to be released on 23 February 2027, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. Fable is not a continuation of the original trilogy and does not follow its established timeline or characters. It serves as a beginning that reimagines the world of Albion while retaining elements of the original games, including moral choices, player freedom, British humour, and the concept of Heroes.
