Keep BigRanks independent

I built BigRanks because I stopped believing the numbers: scores with no way of telling who had voted or why, and a separate site for every kind of thing I watch, read and play. So I am building one place: an independent ranking of films, series, games, anime and manga, where every rating comes from a verified viewer and none from a bot, a studio or a paid review, and the counting rules are published in full. Nobody can pay to rank higher, including me. A ranking like that is built by people who rate what they truly know, and it cannot be built alone.

Keeping the site up has real costs: the server it runs on, the domain, daily backups, and the evenings that go into building it. Every bit of help, whatever its size, is appreciated and goes straight back into the site.
