In other words, in four days... my twisted life, Kurose Ryouya's life, will come to an end by my own will. Kurose Ryouya, a young man who has returned from China, despairs of his own existence and desires death. He decides that August 16th, the anniversary of his mother's death, will be the day he ends his life, and on his way, he visits Ureshino Onsen. However, all the inns are full, and while searching for accommodation, he becomes dizzy. It is a local high school student, Kanae, who comes to Kurose's aid. By chance, Kurose ends up staying for a short time at Hisago Ryokan, Kanae's family inn. However, his actions attract the attention of a local yakuza, Setokuma, and the situation begins to take an unexpected turn, leading Kurose to investigate the mystery of a murder that occurred in this area four years ago—!?
