S&box (stylised in lowercase and pronounced Sandbox) is an open source video game development engine and platform by Facepunch Studios built on the Source 2 engine. S&box was released on April 28, 2026, and is intended to be a spiritual successor to Garry's Mod, allowing users to create a variety of games and experiences.
